TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All unaccompanied children travelers must be accompanied by a travel companion. All child travelers are language paired. All child travelers; travel with a mature female travel companion!
 
All medical travelers requiring a nurse will also require a language speaking travel companion!
 
All medical travelers requiring a doctor will also travel with both a nurse and a language travel companion. This applies to all private medical flights.
 
All forms of transportation: airlines, all cruise lines, all train lines and all resorts are booked as first-class reservations; both for the client and for our travel companions. In the event that no carriers have first class then the next highest-class rating is acceptable.
 
All hotel bookings are made in (5) five star accommodations. Our lifestyle clients are special, and our travel ambassadors are special. Each will have their own separate and equal accommodations.
 
By sending us your initial deposit (or any subsequent payment) toward your trip price, you are confirming your acceptance of the terms & conditions of Concierge Travel Companion Inc.
 
Pricing & Payment—We require a non-refundable deposit of $5,000.00 USD upon acceptance of your personalized itinerary.
 
We require a non-refundable deposit of 15,000.00 USD for travel that requires a nurse and travel companion.
 
We require a non-refundable deposit of 50,000.00 USD for travel that requires a doctor, nurse, and travel companion.
 
To confirm an itinerary, we collect a 50% deposit on the total trip price, (or more if there is larger non-refundable suppliers amounts due). In some circumstances such as yacht or plane charter or villa/apartment rental, a larger non-refundable deposit may be required. In this case, you will be notified at the time of making payment.
 
Please note that until we have received your deposit payment, all arrangements are subject to availability and/or price change. Final payment is due 90/60/30 /14 days prior to the trip confirmation notice, given to client and client’s acknowledgment and written return acceptance of travel confirmation. You may deposit into our account at any global worldwide HSBC bank. You may wire transfer to our global HSBC account from your own bank. In keeping with the luxury lifestyle of our global clientele. These are the only acceptable forms of payment. If final payment is not received, Concierge Travel Companions Inc. Reserves the right to release your reservations and assumes that the trip has been cancelled by you. In this instance, our standard cancellation fees would apply.

Trip cancellation— your trip is subject to cancellation penalties depending on how late you cancel. If you cancel your trip, the following fees will apply:


Concierge Travel Companions Inc. retains the right to change or cancel your trip entirely in extreme circumstances. For example; if your safety or the quality of the trip, in our sole opinion, is deemed to be compromised. If we cancel your trip, we will refund what you have paid us. We cannot be held responsible for losses you may incur with third parties, such as airlines or hotels, cruise lines, or vacation resorts, reserved private aircraft, or for reserved medical personnel or related medical equipment. For this reason, we strongly recommend cancellation and interruption, or comprehensive travel insurance on all travel.

 

It is sometimes necessary (or recommended) that changes be made to your itinerary after it has been confirmed with your deposit. This is most common when a third party (i.e. airline, hotel, resort, cruise company) makes changes that are beyond our control, such as flight cancellations or schedule changes. In other instances, changes may be necessary due to extreme weather or events in the region. We will always do our best to rearrange the itinerary in a way that minimizes changes to the flow and pricing of your trip. However, if the itinerary changes require us to re-price your trip you will be responsible for the difference in cost.


Clients can make minor changes to their itinerary once the trip is confirmed, as determined by Concierge Travel Companions Inc. and we will try our best to accommodate your requests.

 

However, major changes will often incur additional planning fees and/or non-refundable deposit payments. This may be subject to an additional charge, in addition to the amount initially quoted. We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance.

 

Concierge Travel Companions Inc. is committed to making your trip as rewarding and stress-free as possible, but we require your help and assistance in order to do so. For example, we rely on you to provide us with necessary personal information; age, passport, departure dates, medical information if requested, contact person and backup persons, names, and photos as to who will meet and or greet you upon your arrival.

 

We understand and recognize your special travel needs; i.e. requests, porters, wheelchairs, ambulances, accommodations, stateroom, balcony, king or queen bed, non-smoking floor, and any other special needs or interests; so that we may organize the best travel journey for you. We also ask that you respond to our questions in a timely manner so as not to delay the planning process.

 

It is your responsibility to become informed about the most current travel advisories and warnings for countries of travel. We will do our best to keep you informed of major developments, but you must contact your relevant government agency to be aware of any travel advisories and warnings. Should you choose to ignore such travel advisories and warnings, the traveler assumes all risk of personal injury, death or property damage that may arise out of the events like those advised or warned against. At Concierge Travel Companions Inc., we never travel to countries that place our clientele and or our travel ambassadors in possible harm’s way.

 

Concierge Travel Companions Inc. recognizes the faith and trust you put in us to plan your travel. Our logistics center will do our utmost to create and deliver the perfect trip for you. Our aim is to provide you with reliable and personalized service. We will respond to your messages promptly and will keep you informed and updated, as your itinerary evolves. If at any time you have questions or concerns, we ask that you let us know immediately so we can address them.

 

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid passport and meet all necessary entry requirements of the country or countries you will be visiting. These requirements vary by country and nationality and can change from time to time.

 

Concierge Travel Companions Inc. will do its best to inform travelers of these general requirements, but we highly recommend that you contact the appropriate embassy/consulate in your country of residence.

 

Concierge Travel Companions Inc. is not responsible for delays, changes or costs of any kind, due to incomplete, expired or inaccurate traveler documentation. All travelers’ passports must have at least (6) six months of validity remaining on their passports prior to their return travel date.

 

By sending us your initial deposit you certify that you or to your knowledge anyone traveling with you if applicable, does not have any physical or other condition or disability that would make traveling unsafe for you or other travelers. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have received all appropriate vaccinations. Please consult your doctor before traveling with us and take all necessary precautions. This does not apply to persons using our medical and travel companion service.

 

Concierge Travel Companions Inc. is required to collect personal information; such as passport details, medical information etc. To plan your personalized itinerary trip. We appreciate the sensitive nature of this information and will not share it with third parties (other than as required for booking air, hotel or other reservations as a part of your trip) without your express written permission.

 

By sending us your initial deposit, you are consenting to Concierge Travel Companions Inc. collecting and using your personal information as required to plan your trip and provide you with proper concierge services.

 

At your request, we may recommend travel and other services of third parties outside the scope of your Concierge Travel Companions Inc. trip; such as private limo service and driver, etc. Although we try to recommend only companies that provide the highest quality of service, we cannot guarantee the services provided by these third-party service providers.

 

Our trips are often in developing countries with transportation, communication and healthcare standards that are different from what you get at home. Medical facilities and services may not be readily accessible and may not be as sophisticated. As mentioned above, we also work with independent suppliers and third-party service providers (hotels, local guides, transportation companies, airlines, tour operators) and cannot be held responsible for their actions or their failure to act.

 

Concierge Travel Companions Inc. has no right or ability to control their operations and as such, makes travel arrangements for the trips on the condition that Concierge Travel Companions Inc. will not be liable for any act or omission of any independent supplier or any unrelated third party. The services provided by independent suppliers are subject to the laws of the land/places where the services are provided, and any conditions imposed by those suppliers. The liabilities of the independent suppliers may be limited by their tariffs, conditions of carriage, tickets, and vouchers, and international conventions and agreements.

 

Limitation of liability, release, and indemnity—to be eligible to take a Concierge Travel Companions Inc. trip, travelers must accept the risks of travel, including those set out above and otherwise set out in these terms and conditions and the client assumes full responsibility for any loss, injury, death or damage to them, their family or their dependents or property arising in connection with their participation, or the participation of their family, in the trip. Concierge Travel Companion Inc. highly recommends that travelers should obtain their own insurance appropriate to their needs and the needs of their family or dependents in respect of such loss, injury, death or damage.

 

The cost of all Concierge Travel Companions Inc. trips is based on travelers agreeing to these terms & conditions and this limitation of liability, release, and indemnity. As Concierge Travel Companions Inc. is acting solely as a service agent for you with respect to all planning and itinerary of transportation, accommodations, meals, and other arrangements, travelers agree not to sue Concierge Travel Companions Inc., its employees, directors, successors, agents and assigns in respect of, and forever release them from all liability for economic loss and physical or mental injury, direct or indirect, arising in connection with the trip and the actions of any third party service providers. This includes, (without limitation); permanent disability and death, any emotional distress, any loss of services, financial support, medical aid, consortium or companionship, and any damage to or loss of property—in each case, even if caused in whole or in part by the company’s conduct, including the negligence, of Concierge Travel Companions Inc., except where such loss, injury or damage is caused by reckless or fraudulent conduct on the part of Concierge Travel Companions Inc. or their employees, shareholders, officers or directors; in which case the traveler retains the right to sue only Concierge Travel Companions Inc. in respect of that conduct.

 

Travelers further agree that they will indemnify and hold Concierge Travel Companion Inc. harmless in respect to any claims arising in connection with their trip made by; i) third parties, or which arise from the misconduct of the travelers; ii) the traveler’s family members, dependents or heirs; iii) third parties, which the traveler, their estate, their family members, dependents or heirs have sued, if damages are recovered from such third parties, to the extent the third party obtains any indemnification from Concierge Travel Companions Inc.; except where the loss, injury, death or damage is caused by the reckless or fraudulent conduct on the part of Concierge Travel Companions Inc., or their employees, shareholders, officers or directors.

 

Concierge Travel Companions Inc. reserves the right to decline accepting any traveler whose health or actions in Concierge Travel Companions Inc.’s sole judgment impedes the operation of a trip or the welfare or enjoyment of fellow travelers.

 

In addition, and without limitation, Concierge Travel Companions Inc. is not responsible for any injury, loss, or death, or damages to property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from, acts of God or force majeure, weather, quarantines, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection/revolt, animals, labor unrest including strikes, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of means of transportation or travel delays, travel advisories or travel warnings.

 

In further consideration for participating in the trip, travelers agree that Concierge Travel Companions Inc. or their designate, may, with the written permission of the client, use any photographic or film records of the trips for promotional and/or commercial purposes, without any remuneration to the traveler. The traveler agrees to assign all rights, titles, and interests to any media, in which their name or likeness might be used, to Concierge Travel Companions Inc.

 

Travelers agree that Concierge Travel Companions Inc. travel is the trustee of the respective rights of Concierge Travel Companions Inc. under this limitation of liability, release, and indemnity, which will apply to a traveler’s trips with Concierge Travel Companions Inc., and any transfer of a reservation to another trip. These terms and conditions and this limitation of liability, release, and indemnity are binding upon all members of the traveler’s family, dependents, estate, heirs, successors and legal personal representatives. Any claim or dispute arising out of, or relating to, these terms & conditions, this limitation of liability, release and indemnity or its interpretation, the trip, or the traveler’s relationship with Concierge Travel Companions Inc., will be resolved exclusively in the courts of the province of Alberta and will be governed exclusively by Alberta law.

 

General—The term “Concierge Travel Companions Inc.”, “us” and “we” refers to Concierge Travel Companions Inc. Travel Inc.
